Parasailing in the Outer Banks

You likely came to the Outer Banks of North Carolina to enjoy the sand and the sun. You want time on the beach to relax and to play. However, if you want to take your memory-making to the next level, consider parasailing with Kitty Hawk Watersports.

What is parasailing?

If you’ve been to the beach (whether here in the Outer Banks or elsewhere), you’ve probably seen someone parasailing—perhaps even without knowing it. From the beach, parasailing looks a parachuter getting pulled through the air on a tow line connected to a moving boat below in the water. For the person parasailing, you get to experience the beach much like those seagulls you see along the shore. Enjoy the breeze as you move above the water, and get a new perspective on the surrounding beach life.

What are my options?

At Kitty Hawk Watersports, your parasailing options are based on two things:

  1. How high do you want to go? We have 600-, 900-, and 1,200-foot parasailing options, depending on your thrill level and comfort with heights.
  2. Do you want to parasail alone or with a friend? You can decide to go alone or bring up to two friends with you.

After you decide what kind of parasailing adventure you want to take, we can give you a rental quote and find the best day and time to get you up in the air. Please note that parasailing is weather dependent, so too much rain, wind, or other elements can affect your reservation.

How can I make a reservation?
